Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Drape collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Drape fashion social app (Home Discover, Moments, live rooms, messaging, Fashion Assistant, coins, and gifts), including when Drape is distributed in multiple App Store countries.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: email; password handled by our auth provider; Sign in with Apple identifiers when you choose Apple.
- Profile data: display name, handle, bio / intro, avatar image, and similar profile fields you choose to provide.
- Content & media: Moments posts, live covers/videos you upload or view metadata related to streams, chat media, comments, and similar UGC.
- Social graph & safety: follows, fans, likes, comments, blocks, reports, and related action records.
- Usage & device: app interactions, approximate diagnostics, device type, OS version, and crash logs needed for reliability.
- Purchase data: coin purchase receipts processed via Apple; we store resulting coin balance and related transaction records.
- AI assistant inputs: Fashion Assistant chat text you type and recent turns of that same Assistant conversation (for reply context). We do not send your email, password, profile (name, handle, bio, avatar), Moments media, live media, private DMs with other users, purchase receipts, or device identifiers to the AI provider.
- Communications: messages in DMs or live rooms, and emails you send to support.
2. How We Use Information
- Create and secure your account
- Operate Home Discover, Moments, Live, Messages, Mine, gifts, coins, follows, likes, blocks, and reports
- Power Fashion Assistant: only the Assistant chat session text above is used to generate a reply; other account or app data is not invoked for that AI call
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests
- Improve performance and fix bugs
3. Storage (Supabase)
Drape stores account, profile, posts, channels, messages, and action records on Supabase (Auth, Database, Storage, Realtime). Media files are stored in our Drape media bucket under user-scoped paths where applicable. Access is protected by authentication and row-level security policies. Fashion Assistant chat messages may also be stored on Supabase so you can reopen the conversation in Messages.
4. Sharing with Third Parties
We share data only as needed with:
- Supabase — backend hosting
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchases
- Cursor (AI processing via Cursor Cloud Agents API) — when you use Fashion Assistant, we transmit only that Assistant chat session text (current message and limited recent Assistant conversation turns) so the service can return a reply. We do not transmit email, profile, avatars, Moments/live media, other users’ DMs, coins/purchase data, or device identifiers to Cursor for this feature. Cursor processes this under its own terms and privacy practices; we require processing limited to providing the reply.
- Service providers who help operate Drape under confidentiality obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
5. AI Services
Our application provides AI-powered features through Cursor.
Data We Collect
When you use AI features, we may process the following information that you voluntarily provide:
- Text messages (Fashion Assistant chat text you type and limited recent turns of that same Assistant conversation for reply context)
Purpose of Processing
The submitted content is transmitted to Cursor solely for the purpose of generating AI responses requested by you.
Third-Party Processing
The submitted content is securely transmitted to Cursor for processing. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
User Consent
Before any content is sent to Cursor for the first time, the application requests your explicit consent. You may choose not to use AI features at any time.
Data Security
We use secure encrypted connections when transmitting data to Cursor.

6. Permissions
Photo Library / Camera / Microphone: requested only when you choose related features (for example avatar or Moments media, or live / video-call capabilities). We only access items or sensors you authorize in context. Other permissions, if enabled later, will be requested with a clear purpose.
7. Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except records we must retain for legal, security, or accounting reasons (for example coin ledgers or abuse reports).
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location (including regions where Drape is listed on the App Store), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update profile info in-app, clear cache, block users, and request account deletion in Settings. For other requests, contact ngthikngan1983@icloud.com.
9. Children
Drape is not directed to children under the minimum age required by local law. If we learn we collected data from a child without proper consent, we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS, authenticated APIs, access controls), including secure encrypted connections when transmitting Fashion Assistant content to Cursor. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We take steps designed to protect data in line with this Policy when Drape is used across multiple countries.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app.
